The second week of my residency

I have been busy visiting local sights with my fellow artists. We have been given generous amount of time by a local supporter Ai Ogawa who works for the government as an official interpreter. She helped me select a Kimono to wear for the private view on the 25th November.

The local residents of elderly Japanese ladies come each day and have a chat even though I do not know any Japanese. This evening we picked the fruit of the Japanese Persimmon tree of a local neighbour at her invitation. The fruit is very sweet.

I shall post some of my new work this week, I plan to work on a large scale.
